Account data: Email address for login and communication.
Wedding data: Names of the couple, wedding date and venue, guest list, budget, tasks and other information you provide.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device - for security and functionality.
Cookies: Functional cookies for login, analytics cookies for service improvement (see Cookie policy). (Cookie policy).
2. Why we process data
- Providing wedding planning service
- Managing your account and authentication
- Communication about the service (e.g., confirmations, notifications)
- Improving and developing the platform
- Fulfilling legal obligations
Legal basis: Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Data sharing
We do not sell your data to third parties.
We only share data with:
- Supabase - database hosting (EU servers)
- Vercel - application hosting
- Stripe - payment processing (only if you pay)
- Resend - sending emails
- Google Analytics - anonymized analytics (can be declined)
All providers comply with GDPR requirements.
4. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access - obtain a copy of your data
- Rectification - correct inaccurate data
- Erasure - request deletion of data (right to be forgotten)
- Restriction - restrict processing
- Portability - obtain data in machine-readable format

5. Data retention
We retain data for:
- Account and wedding data: Duration of account + 30 days after deletion
- Billing data: 10 years (legal requirement)
- Analytics data: 26 months (anonymized)
